Job Summary:
The Manager of Ticket Operations will be responsible for the oversight, management and accountability of the ticket operations for the Atlanta Beat and all functions pertaining to the operation of the stadium box office. Candidate must be detail-oriented, motivated and organized with the ability to efficiently manage ticket operations, including the fulfillment of ticket orders and requests, management of the ticket sales system, operation of the box office, the monitoring of and processing of reports, and the application of payments. In addition, this person will manage the box office staff on game day, as well during other events, such as concerts and special events. This person will report support the Director of Crowd Building with all sales and customer service efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of ticket operations department including the box office and day of game ticket operations.
• Process all ticket orders: season tickets, groups and individual game tickets.
• Oversee all ticket office functions: sales, staffing, cash handling, deposits, etc.
• Become competent with new ticket system; build game schedule on system, build ticket accounts, prepare reports, and manage cash payments.
• Maintain and manage all hard ticket inventory.
• Develop and maintain files and reports on each event that consists of ticket sales, group sales, comp tickets and overall event audits.
• Prepare routine ticketing reports (i.e., walk up ticket sales, drop count reports, turnstile reports, group sales reports, season ticket reports, etc.).
• Reconcile daily cash and credit card sales.
• Manage and control budgeted revenues and expenses for areas of responsibility.
• Issue and track all complimentary ticket requests, coupons, vouchers and special promotions opportunities.
• Interact and provide customers with answers to questions and resolve ticketing issues.
• Assist in resolving any ticket related concerns.
• Train, orient, manage and lead box office game day staff and interns on how to service ticket accounts along with providing unsurpassed customer service to all fans.
• Act as liaison with ticket vendors to keep them properly informed about events, ticket sales and ticket operations.
• Develop relationships with ticket printing companies.
• Order all ticket stock.
• Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years ticket sales box office experience required
• Knowledge of TicketMaster, Archtics, TicketLeap and other ticketing systems a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
• Strong computer proficiency including experience with excel and other database management systems

FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sales of season ticket and groups to individuals, businesses, churches, civic organizations, etc.
• Sell new full season tickets, partial season ticket plans, group tickets and single game luxury suites
• Prospect and qualify all potential sales opportunities in addition to the leads you are provided
• Extensive cold calling to potential season ticket, group ticket and premium seating prospects on a daily basis (up to100 outbound phone calls daily)
• Face to face selling
• Continually prospect for new business opportunities
• Network with local business in an effort to acquire sales leads
• Maintain a prospect database and track new sales leads
• Build relationships to provide referrals and repeat business
• Recognize future sales opportunities
• Development of creative programs to target specific community organizations for groups
• Set appointments, show seats, and give stadium tours with the intent to close business
• Represent the team at various community events, such as festivals, youth sporting events, etc. with the responsibility of informing the community about the team, and marketing ticket sales packages and promotions
• Answer incoming single game calls with the ability to up-sell callers into packages, groups, and suite rentals
• Provide excellent customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone and at games Work games, nights, weekends and holidays as assigned (i.e. answer phones, work sales booths, visit clients)
• Assist customer service efforts (mailing invoices, tickets, etc…)
• Attend weekly sales meetings
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous ticket sales experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with an irregular work schedule to include nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Excellent time management skills.

SUMMARY: FC Gold Pride, the Bay Area team of Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS), the premier women’s professional soccer league in North America, is recruiting for a Director of Ticket Sales. The Director of Sales will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the FC Gold Pride ticket sales efforts. The Director will be charged with planning, implementing and overseeing the execution of a strategic plan in the areas of ticket sales revenue. The successful candidate will be tasked to manage the growth of ticket sales revenue via the sales of season tickets, mini-plans, and group tickets to the local soccer, business and non-profit community.
JOB FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, implement and execute the overall ticket sales plan and other various ticket sales plans and initiatives
• Manage up to 7 Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives on a day-to-day basis to ensure that all ticket revenue goals (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal) are attained
• Manage the Ticket Operations Manager and Interns
• Manage the Ticket Sales Department budget
• Sell tickets and reach a designated personal sales goal
• Mange the CRM program (Glitner)
• Develop ticket promotions
• Develop creative programs to target specific community and business organizations for season ticket and group ticket sales
• Works cross-functionally with marketing, sponsorship, PR and events to maximize ticket sales and prospects
• Develops and expands ticket contact base through prospecting and networking
• Create and manage a referral ticket program
• Manage the creation of all ticket sales printed pieces
• Strategic planning of long-term ticket sales programs and initiatives
• Ensure a high level of customer service at all games and events
• Work games, nights, weekends and holidays as assigned (i.e. answer phones, work sales booths, visit clients)
