DESCRIPTION:
- The Boston Breakers are seeking motivated and teachable candidates to sell 2010 season ticket plans, flex packs, and group ticket packages.
- You will have the opportunity to learn about the sales process and grow your career under the guidance of the Director of Ticket Sales and supervising Account Executives.
- The Part-Time Ticket Sales position will be used as a feeder system for full-time Account Executive openings with the Boston Breakers and potentially other clubs in WPS for successful sales people willing to relocate.
- We offer an hourly salary, commission on all sales, free parking, plus a positive and professional environment! You will be required to work at least two evenings plus one weekend afternoon per week.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Implement outbound sales efforts, particularly with respect to the following:
1. Sales and service best practices
2. Ability to make between 30-50 phone calls per shift to prospective Breakers ticket buyers
3. Prospecting
4. Lead generation
5. Data capture and personal database management
- Develop personal goals, procedures, and strategies to increase sales for the Boston Breakers. The plan should address all of the elements listed above.
- Commitment to teamwork and ability to adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Miscellaneous duties assigned by supervising Account Executives, Director of Ticket Sales, and/or General Manager.
- Base salary: $8.00 per hour; 2 evenings and 1 weekend afternoon per week from approximately 5:00-8:00PM on weeknights and 12:00-4:00PM on weekends. Possible spring opportunity may become available.
- Commission structure: Breakers season tickets, flex packs, and group outings - 5%
- Candidates will be selected through a competitive resume and interview search.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Junior/Senior in college or have a college degree.
- Previous job/internship experience within the sports industry preferred.
- Strong work ethic and a burning desire to build a career in professional sports.

This position will work with the Director of Ticket Sales to handle all aspects of ticketing operations and Customer Service. Responsibilities include generating reports, inventory management, preparing audits, payment processing, overseeing game day ticketing staff, including will call and window sellers/service staff. This position will work with the Director of Ticket Sales on strategic planning of all ticketing related projects including but not limited to conversion and ticket system upgrades. This position will also develop best practices for customer relations and internal ticketing services.
Job Responsibilities:
• Handles complaints and customer service issues in a fair, professional & courteous manner.
• Manage all aspects of ticketing and event management, season ticket holder and group sales support.
• Participate in the creation of the operational timeline and manage all aspects of ticketing and event management.
• Participate in planning and development on projects to be supported by the ticketing department.
• Assist in monitoring sales activities, providing daily, weekly and monthly reports as needed.
• Develop a standard to deliver event ticket sales information to all departments.
• Create and maintain relevant forms, such as ticket request and offer descriptions.
• Advise solutions pertaining to customer service issues and work closely with ticket sales t on proper follow up.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent training & experience
• Must have prior ticket operations / box office or customer service experience with an entertainment venue, sports team or collegiate athletic ticket office.
• Must have knowledge of and experience working with ticketing systems and be able to provide guidance on upgrades, conversions and daily event management.
• Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail and be proactive in anticipating problems and providing ticketing and customer service solutions.
• Must be cooperative, courteous and patient in dealings with employees, guests and others.
• Must have good communication and decision making skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple functions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible regarding work hours since duties will require working outside the normal “9 to 5” schedule

FC Gold Pride is currently in search of a Public Address Announcer for its 2010 season. The PA Announcer's duties include announcing starting line-ups, all in stadium announcements, presentations, contests, and other duties as assigned.
The PA Announcer is the main voice of the FC Gold Pride while in the stadium. The PA Announcer works closely with the game presentation staff and others to create a fan-friendly and entertaining experience at all FC Gold Pride games.
Requirements
- Strong vocal talent
- A unique and definitive personality
- Strong knowledge of professional soccer (women's soccer is a plus), including rules and positions
- Ability to multi-task in a stressful environment
- Comfortable announcing to thousands of people on a microphone
- Comfortable announcing complex names from a variety of ethnic backgrounds
- Able to attend all home FC Gold Pride games and arrive 2 hours before game time for each game
- Available to attend appropriate pregame meetings

Inside Sales Representative (Part-time) - FC Gold Pride (Sunnyvale, CA)
Essential Job Responsibilities:
* Sell FC Gold Pride ticket products to an assigned group of prospective buyers. This position will involve a heavy outbound call effort and follow up
* Assist in customer service and will be required to work on game days
* Keep accurate records and perform necessary follow up with customers
* Process orders by using the Glitnir ticketing system
Ideal candidates for this position must possess:

Street Team- FC Gold Pride (Hayward, CA)
FC Gold Pride is looking for exciting, and outgoing candidates that will interact with the general public. The Street team of the FC Gold Pride will be attending events, distributing information, passing out fliers, promoting the team and assist in various game day activities.

Ticket Sales Trainee – AC St. Louis/Athletica
The Athletic Club of St. Louis seeks individuals with solid work ethics and coach-ability to become sales account executives to work in a seasonal ticket sales trainee capacity. Position is seasonal (January 11 – August 15th) with an approximate 25 hours a week.
This position is responsible for the following:
(1) Selling 2010 ticket packages and group tickets via telemarketing and electronic mail.
(2) Working information booths at various community events and clinics for lead generation.
(3) Service existing accounts, perform basic office functions as needed and be expected to attain ticket sales using the tools that are provided and creativity that can benefit in a growth of ticket sales.
(4) Prospect new companies and other organizations that might be ideal for season tickets or bringing a group to an Athletica or AC St. Louis game.
(5) Contribute to organizing, segmenting, and reporting calls, leads and sales to assist with the reporting of database organization and telemarketing campaign.
On a day-to-day basis, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Proactively making outbound phone calls to individuals in the St. Louis metro area to sell Athletica and AC St. Louis tickets utilizing lists of former account holders, other customers in the Athletic Club of St. Louis database, and other prospected leads.
- Attend ticket sales department meetings
- Servicing accounts which he/she has sold
- Helping answer incoming sales calls utilizing up-selling techniques.
The ideal candidate should be aggressive, competitive, creative, professional, mature, good listener, self-starting and committed to the team concept. Selected candidates will have demonstrated previous involvement in a wide range of activities or clubs. Recent completion of a college degree in Marketing, Sales or Sports Management preferred. Prior telemarketing and/or sales experience is preferred; strong communication skills are a necessity.

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for producing revenue through the sale of full and partial season ticket packages and group ticket packages to individuals and businesses.
